- Sunday afternoons at the park with the girls discussing who we fancied and daring each other!
- Sunday school lessons with Jo and Amie
- fun times with "Da Cru"
- Fridays - when the only thing I did was be on the Welcome Team
- lessons where you just learnt with your friends rather than just doing them to get through exams
- not being able to play the music in orchestra cos it was too hard, but being really impressed with the bigger girls who could play it
- holidays at Sandbanks with the best family ever

Well Reality has been and gone unfortunately. It was such an awesome and inpiring week. Met lots of new people and really boosted my confidence. I was litter picking most of the week and I found it quite entertaining how much I enjoyed paying £20 for that opportunity :)
Just going out onto the streets of Norwich and giving out leaflets for the BBQ and the Final night event really made me realise how easy it is and that random strangers aren't always going to shrug off what you have to say to them. In fact the majority of people I talked to seemed genuinely interested. The BBQ on the Wed was good fun and the rain held off til afterwards (cheers God!) when we'd all got home ( apart from Helen hehehe ;-D) A good number turned up and lots of good conversations happened which was awesome!
On the Friday night we had a rapper and drama group which was...different. Some guys who had come to our BBQ turned up and WOW! That was simply amazing!!!!! Prayed lots!!! They didnt stay the whole time but hopefully enough to hear some of the good news. And we had new Christians too which was well cool! Praise GOD!!!
Overall the week was awesome and I'm definitely doing it again next year! Thanks to all the crew involved!!

The Joys of Life

Well as you can see my birthday has been and gone. I had a fantastic time and thanks for all my presents! I got a digital camera! :)
Now I am on work experience! It is well fun! I am working at the Clare school (a special needs school) and I'm with yr 1/2! They are well cute!
Basically all I have to do is play with them and look after them by pushing them around at break (in their wheelchairs).
They went to Wroxham Barns yesterday which soounded like fun but unfortunately there was no room on the buses for me and the other work exoerience people. So instead I stayed with yr 9 and had even more fun! It is much better because you can have proper conversations with them and they are much more able and independent.
Well, I have one more week left and I'm sure it will be fantastic!
I'd better go because its Mum's 50th birthday party so hopefuuly I will post soon! :)
(ps, Nana just went up to a guest called Richard, put her hand on his shoulder and said..."Oh my goodness! It's John!!" LOL!)

Reality is only just over a month away and we need YOU to make it happen.Sign up NOW for just £20 for 5 days of teaching, worship and celebration and most importantly 5 afternoons of reaching out to our local community!It is the first week of the summer holidays 24th-29th July - so there is no excuse not to come and work for your city of Norwich in spreading God's love.
It is such a majorly important thing to do. Just think of what it could be the start of. The start of life changing relationships and work in your community that will go on for years to come, where hearts will be change and people will be made whole. It can be the development of vital work that is already going on!
Everyone from the age of 14 is welcome to come along (over 21s need to be referenced) - so spread the word. Tell all your friends and get them to come along. Tell your youth leader that it's a week of events ready organised for them where they can bring their youth group.

Well my important exams are over (YaY) and now i can concentrate on the really important things e.g:

But atleast when i get home i can go straight to the Chocolate Youth Led Service at church... and collapse of shatteredness... yeah great :D

Exams

Well, I just took my first GCSE today, Maths. I think it went alright, but my friends all said that they found it really hard which isnt so good!
It was annoying because they get you to revise so much and it seems like sucha big deal and you have to know the whole revision guide off by heart, when actually the majority of things I had revised weren't even in the paper. Then the couple of things I happened to miss because I didnt think were too important were the ones that did come up! How rude!
Ah well, next one is Thursday, Science. Should be ok-ish. :)

Well, we made it after running for 33 mins (me) and 35mins (Mum)!
I think thats quite impressive considering I did no training or preparation for it and Mum did the full training programme :)
Ah well, this is us anyway just after the race and feeling thoroughly worn out. Oh, and yes that means you owe me lots of money!

Cats, bicycles and arms

Well, today has been quite eventful. Like normal, i got up at 6am to go and do my lovely paper round. But as i was happily cycling down the clear Unthank Rd a nasty black cat decided (after seeing that i was coming along the road at a reasonable speed) to cross right in front of me! HOW RUDE! So i found myself on the road, my bike just behind, my glasses had gone flying along with my keys and somehow i had fallen on my knees, my left shoulder, my right wrist and my head ( don't ask how cos i wasnt watching!) Luckily i was very close to the paper shop, therefore I was able to drag myself up and wander to the shop bringing my bike which luckily also wasnt affected.
Once there, I got myself together and a nice lady called Janine (i think) walked me home. :)
But that wasnt the end! Seeing as I've got my lovely DofE practice walk this w/e, Mum was feeling extra cautious and therefore decided to take me to Casualty where we waited for only 45MINS! So eventually i was seen and they decided that my arm is sprained and i'm going to have a lot of bruising.
So yeah, that was my eventful morning.

Well only 3 days to go until my Duke of Edinburgh practice walk... yay! It should be quite entertaining sharing a tent with Cathy and Georgia. But thats only if we manage to find the campsite seeing as annoying Mrs Maddocks (the teacher that almost killed some students in Yorkshire by driving a minibus into a tree... yes, i watched it all!) decided to split our group up so the clever-good-at-map-reading people have moved... doh! Then when we eventually arrive we have to somehow put up the tent and cook pasta for tea. Unfortunately, I have never put up a tent in my life, so this should be quite entertaining. Then more walking the next day. Oh and did i mention we have to carry massive rucksacks ( which Georgia fell over in when it was EMPTY! lol) So by Monday (YAY a day off school for MAYDAY!) I will be knackered and aching! fantastic

Well, this is my first post, and I'm afraid to say it isnt going to be a nice one :(
This morning, as i was going out as normal on my paper round, a random lady who I have walked/ cycled past many times before, stopped me and asked if i had a plastic bag, i didnt, as I was delivering papers. Then she informed me that there was a dead cat along the pavement and I shouldn't look at it as I went passed. But, like most average people who, when told not to do something they do the opposite, I did look... and it was gross! All its guts out, I was almost sick. I don't think I will ever forget the sight of the poor thing. Luckily I saw a couple of people taking it away in a bin bag later on.
